• 12 April 2024This man has zero personality, and does not know how to talk to people who are in need. When meeting him and sitting down to talk about why I was there, he immediately disregarded anything I said, including my test results that I had mentioned and the reason why my GP had sent me. He did not once pull up my file, look at my bloodwork, or my medical history.
After asking me round of questions, he kept going back to my weight and my mental health. In under five minutes he determined that nothing was wrong with me or my body besides being overweight and even though he said “I’m not a therapist or a psychiatrist”, he determined that I just had mental health problems and that I was depressed. Even though being overweight and all of my symptoms are related to an already proven health issue that I have that I am on medication for. He is just another example of what is wrong with the medical system, especially male doctors, disregarding and gaslighting women.
