• 5 August 2023her knowledge on the endocrine system is pathetic, getting her to help you with anything will be a struggle. you want a pump? 2 year wait. Need her to sign a form after you qualify for governemnt coverage for diabetic supplies? she’ll take 3-6 months to sign it. I was having a year of major issues and was pretty certain it was adrenal insufficiency, she did the acth stim which can rule out PRIMARY adrenal insufficney, she refused further testing for secondary insufficeny, and made me go to another endo. but low behold few months later my cortisol dropped so low I almost died. she ended up with the fax and called me to give me a perscription but her ego was so hurt she claimed she didn’t know why it was low and claimed she didn’t know what it was instead of just admiting she was wrong and shlukd have actually listened to me months earlier (secondary adrenl insufficney, like I asked her to test for….) i asked if it was adrenal insufficieny and her response was “not necessarily” except there is literaly no other diagnosis… to make matters worse the first lab I did with her to check for adrenal insufficeny had enough info that if she actually knew what she was doing she would have known there was an issue with my cortsiol levels and then did further testing. she lacks any sort of empathy and is only doing this job for an easy paycheck, she doesn’t do any new research amd refuses to learn anything new, don’t waste your time here unless you want a dr who couldn’t care less if you’re close to dying.
