Rosen isn’t at the above clinic anymore, he is at NOVOCARE in Calgary, AB.

The problem with my injury (You can look this up on the website STATPEARLS, “cervical disc injuries” or “cervical disc herniation”)

“The management of patients with cervical disc herniations can be complex and involves a broad interprofessional team approach that can include nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, emergency physicians, orthopedic and neurosurgeons, radiologists, pain specialists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and pharmacists.”

the problem is – I just have *me* advocating for myself.

    Me and that’s it.

I’m the only person advocating for myself, lol.

In retrospect, I think I could’ve made a recovery (I would’ve liked to have tried!).

I didn’t receive the appropriate care, even though I had my diagnosis FROM THE GET GO. right away.
Trust me, if you ever herniate a disc, you will know, buddy!!! because the pain is like a pain you have never felt before.

You can’t mistake the nerve pain for anything else.

also, it’s a radicular pain so it appeared in my shoulder blade. It’s radicular though. I actually injured my neck (unfortunately).

The advice from fpnotebook dot com is to try neve pain medication after 2-3 weeks? (that did not happen until 46 weeks after injury for me) and to consult with a surgeon after 4 weeks. (my surgery consult didn’t happen until 246 weeks after injury – hence why I am disabled now). Is there a miracle surgery or miracle treatment plan that could cure me? Cause right now I’m kind of the poster child for “bad docs = bad outcomes”

*AT NOVOCARE MEDICAL NOW as the person before me stated.

Does not listen. Will not advocate for you. Pretty much the key points of what the previous person stated.

I was on short-term disability for two months and Dr. Rosen did not check in with me, or evaluate me at all before sending me back to work. I had to ask multiple times to be referred to a psychiatrist, when Alberta Blue Cross was insisting that was the necessary step. Referral was put in incorrectly, and I was contacted regarding seeing a psychologist. Waited for 5 months to see the psychiatrist and was ONLY EVALUATED on an EXISTING CONDITION. Completely did not understand me and failed to vocalize or ask questions to clarify.

I have gone in asking for resources and left empty-handed.

Spoke multiple times on a chronic pain issue I had been struggling with for 13+ years. Was sent for X-rays by my chiropractor and referred for bloodwork. My X-ray came back with multiple diagnosis explaining my immobility. I am not sure Dr Rosen has even looked at this X Ray, though I have brought it up with him. My Chiropractor had spoke to me about next steps in pain management being a specialist, and Dr Rosen has done nothing to get me in to see one.

My biggest setback in my healthcare has been the incompetence of my Doctor, which is very disappointing.
