• 8 October 2022I first met with Sklar fall 2020. He agreed to do a hysterectomy due to my adenomyosis and paperwork was signed. Due to the pandemic, I am still waiting, not his fault. I did reach out to set up an appointment as I started having other female issues and based off of my research, I felt that I was also suffering from endometriosis. He refused to see me and told the receptionist to tell me that I didn’t have endo as it didn’t show up on my ultrasound and my MRI from two years ago. I went to a different doctor the following month who listened to me and agreed to do a laparoscopy (generally the only way to find endo unless you have very deep lesions) and they did find that I have endo in several places, behind uterus, on ovaries and on the left side. So I am currently suffering from pain with both endo and adeno and still waiting for my hysterectomy from Dr. Sklar – 26 months later.
Dr. Sklar does not take the time to listen to you and is unwilling to help you find a solution to your pain.
Dr. Sklar either has either no interest in truly helping women with their gynecology needs or lacks the education needed to properly care for us women
