• 8 March 2023I was brought to Peter Lougheed Centre with what turned out to be a cardiac event brought on by a Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. Dr. Cvetan Trpkov became my cardiologist. As soon as it could be arranged, Dr. Trpkov had me sent to the Foothills Medical Centre for Angiogram performed by Dr. Dean Traboulsi. Because of the angiogram, it was discovered that I had experienced a SCAD which caused my heart attack. Dr. Trpkov also scheduled an Echocardiagram at the PLC to check my heart. After these thorough examinations and treatment with blood thinner and nitro patches and eventually sending me home with prescriptions for artery wall relaxer and a drug to slow down my heart so it doesn’t work so hard, I feel that I have been treated by a very capable cardiologist and have complete faith in his knowledge and decisions.
