Dr David Creery

Education

David Creery graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Doctor of Medicine in 1989. He completed his Pediatric Residency Training at the University of Ottawa in 1994, followed by a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 1996. He completed a Critical Care Fellowship at the SickKids Critical Care Unit and became a Pediatric Intensive Care physician at CHEO in July 1998. He was Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care from 2002 to 2015. He completed a Master of Health Science in Health Administration from the University of Toronto in 2010. Since 2011, Dr. Creery has served as the Medical Director of Patient Safety for CHEO. Since 2010, Dr. Creery has been an Investigating Coroner for the Ottawa Region.
