• 22 March 2021Referred to Dr. Cruickshank who advised both shoulders “utterly destroyed”. He opted to do right one first as I am right handed. Into RIH & discharged 32 later. I did not recognize him without scrubs and commented he looked “Dude-ish”. He wished me a Happy Birthday (it was my 73rd BD on date of discharge) henceforth he has been known to me as Dave the Dude. Too bad the pandemic happened to delay second procedure. FYI did not require any narcotics upon discharge and did not require any physiotherapy. I had hoped to have 2 new shoulders when recommencing Fly Fishing in 2021, but I’ll have to make due.
