Receptionist called me regarding an appointment for tomorrow. However, she refused to give me any information other than the Dr’s name and I told her it’s difficult for me to be on the phone. I wasn’t sure if this was the same Dr and I told her that I needed to know before I can call back to let her know, but she originally didn’t even want to tell me anything. Reluctantly, I was able to get the number and location. But then she said, “I’m sorry, I can’t do this and hung up” After I repeatedly asked what time the appointment is for. I was unable to do anything for the rest of the day because I took this phone call, due to my health issues. I’ve been unable to work or take care of my young children because of my health for over 3 months and have been waiting desperately for the appointment. Really upset about the lack of respect and professionalism. I was a medical receptionist prior to this too and I would never have treated someone like this.
