Dr Jason Krowitz, well, lets just say I will be speaking with the director of Powell River Hospital about this employee. A very poor bedside manor and not caring with the outcome of his patients. After vomiting for 5 and one half hours of clear fluid this doctor without a thought toward myself, no fluids to recover the loss I had, no medication to stop the spasms of my esophagus l was vomiting every five minutes, told me I was having an anxiety attack and kicked me out of the hospital. I called the online nurse in British Columbia and she told me to go back to the hospital and demand care of intravenous valuim to stop the spasams and intravenous fluids to replace what I had lost. I could not travel and could have suffered severe complications because of this dr. I would like to see Dr Krowitz removed from emergency care and retrained to emergency care. I did not go to emergency for nothing. I was in trouble and Dr Krowitz put my life in danger.

Jason Krowitz is an insult to the profession of physicians. He lacks deduction skills, empathy, listening, epistemic humility, and any professional bedside manner. He refused to listen to my experience and my knowledge of my own health. He was aggressive and seemed to take pleasure in humiliating me. He refused to continue to talk to me and left the room when I was in mid-sentence. I had to leave the hospital in complete pain with no real resolution beyond what I had already been trying at home. A complete disgrace to the medical profession. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

I just returned from qathet General hospital where Dr. Philips set my wrist and casted me. I liked his confidence and he assured me that my wrist would heal ok but will follow up in 10 days to see if he set it right. I felt more relaxed.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Jason Krowitz should not be allowed to call himself a doctor. He is rude and condescending to patients, and treats nurses like dirt. He misdiagnosed me twice and sent me home without the medication that could have cured me faster. By the time I got a follow up appointment with my GP I had a horrible infection that took months to recover from. I will be contacting the people in charge at Powell River General and hope they take steps to remove this awful doctor. In the meantime, if you go to emergency and he’s on duty I suggest you leave and come back when another doctor is there. Otherwise you’re taking your life into your hands. I wouldn’t trust Jason Krowitz to treat my dog.
