• 3 February 2024Dr. Cadrin recommended the MAID PROGRAM for me because he couldn’t find a solution for my back pain. I not once indicated to him that I wanted to die. I wanted relief from back pain. I told him that all the OPIODS DO IS MESS WITH MY HEAD. Most of the time, I didn’t even know what I was doing. I had no voice. I had no concentration. I had no memory. I have lost years of memories, because of OPIODS. He put me on the GENERIC SUBOXONE(didn’t know what this was), but 1st he had me QUIT COLD TURKEY “MORPHINE” AT HOME. I WAS IN A VERY BAD WITHDRAWAL FOR 3+DAYS. HE SAID I COULD THEN START THE GENERIC SUBOXONE. APPARENTLY, THAT MADE THINGS WORSE. 6 YEARS ON MORPHINE, 4 YEARS ON GENERIC SUBOXONE. THEN WE MOVED. THE NEW PHARMACIST SAID THAT HE DIDN’T HAVE THE GENERIC BRAND, SO HE GVE ME THE ACTUAL “SUBOXONE” THAT IS WHEN EVERYTHING CAME TO A DRAMATIC CRESENDO. MY WIFE RESEARCHED IT. I SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN PUT ON THAT “MIND ALTERING”, CHARACTER CHANGING, KILLER OPIOD TO BEGIN WITH. RESEARCH SAYS THAT IT IS NOT FOR PAIN, BUT FOR THOSE THAT ARE ONE “HEROINE”, WHICH I NEVER WAS ON. IT IS ALSO PERMANENT. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE AFTER THIS. THIS IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY HOMELESS, BECAUSE OVER 90% OF THEM ARE ON SOME KIND OF OPIOD. THEY HAVE NO CONTROL. THEY HAVE NO THOUGHT PROCESS. NO MEMORY. SHORT TERM MEMORY IS GONE. WHEN THEY GO COLD TURKEY, THE WITHDRAWAL IS SO BAD, THAT THEY BEG FOR A PILL OR “WANT TO DIE”. THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO SUPPORT. NO REAL CARING DOCTOR. NOWHERE TO GO FOR HELP, BECAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW THAT HELP IS AVAILABLE. DOCTORS LIKE DOCTOR CADRIN NEED TO KNOW THAT ONE PERSON’S LIFE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS ANOTHER’S. IT’S NOT UP TO HIM TO DECIDE WHETHER A PATIENT SHOULD LIVE OR DIE. “OPIODS”, ESPECIALLY “SUBOXONE” IS NOT THE ANSWER. IT IS THE ANSWER FOR HOMELESSNESS, CREATING IT.
