• 12 October 2024Dr. Bishay saved my life. I had a pancreatic duct leak that went seemingly unnoticed for two months while I slowly died in hospital. He came along to fix internal bleeding in my intestine, noticed the duct leak and spent a lot of time on what he said was a difficult procedure to fix it but persevered, eventually getting a stent in place and saved my life. After he convinced me to have other painful procedures that sped up my recovery. Replaced the stent and removed it later the next year. Always willing to talk and walk through the procedures. Was shocked at how good I looked a few months after release and said so. This was all after having several specialists for months in hospital treat me as if I was just needing some more bed rest and time to get over my “pancreatitis”. Best gastroenterologist in the world in my book, bar none. I hope he sees this message.
