May have future potential if he could volunteer to shadow a more experienced hematologist. He has tunnel vision and does not look or listen to patients. Claims to focus on numbers but missed MAJOR red flags on my dads blood work. In August my Dad had elevated blast cells, anemia, myelocytes and metamyelocytes and was becoming so sick and weak. My mom kept calling and it took until October to get him in for a bone marrow biopsy and even at this point the only reason he was brought in was because my mom said on the phone that she was watching her husband die. Then after another month waiting for results he was diagnosed with a late stage cancer and had 14 percent blast cells. I feel like my Dad slipped through the system. We are now being taken care of by a hematologist who takes the time to answer any questions and has made sure we have access to support services and finally do not feel alone.

I am 97 years of age. Dr. Kang has treated me for Chronic Lymphatic Leukaemia for three years. He is a caring and knowledgeable doctor. His treatment has stabilized my condition. He has also provided other treatment which has greatly improved my quality of life.

My husband was supposed to have an appointment and procedure done by Dr. Kang, this did not happen, Dr. Kang never showed for the appointment nor do the procedure, it was done by resident N.Gabarin. Be aware of signing consents that its the doctor your giving the consent to that will actually do the procedure. I never met Kang and I was at the appointment.

Dr. Kang has been my oncologist since March 2020. He is my absolute lifeline. He is remarkably thorough, informative and most comforting. I couldn’t be more grateful for having my life held in Dr. Kang’s hands. A brilliant hematologist.
