• 19 December 2020My 2.5 year old son has been seeing Dr. Jabeen for a year now. And honestly after having to change Paediatricians because he had to move closer to downtown, I didn’t think I’d find another doctor as amazing as him.
Dr. Jabeen is just as amazing ! She’s super nice and before she comes in the room to see us, she either reviews his chart or notes from the last visit, or maybe she just simply remembers. But it’s nice that she knows where we left off, even though we see each other every 6 months and I don’t have to re-explain any concerns or issues from a previous appointment.
At 18 months, I was super worried about my sons speech progress. And even though she wasn’t worried about it at all, she was still proactive and referred us to a hearing specialist just to be sure there isn’t anything wrong. I love doctors that give us all the options and opportunities to try to solve problems beforehand or before it’s too late, instead of just sending us home saying our child is fine, nothing to worry about.
She knows how to interact with kids and make them feel comfortable. She listens and I feel comfortable asking a million questions without feeling rushed to leave. She takes her time with each child and I love that.
