• 20 November 2021Absolutely disgraceful. Dr Corbo refused to see or treat my blind 94 year old WWII veteran father because his health card showed expired July 2021. My father had travelled 45 minutes via Community Care for his appointment to have treated his cancer spots and a rash which he acquired during a recent 2 month hospital stay.
Renewal of health cards is not required until February 2022.
Disgusting to say the least.

• 18 May 2022I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Corbo. He is extremely knowledgable and also is friendly, relaxed, kind, respectful and understanding. He never seems rushed, and I always feel totally comfortable asking him questions. He’s happy to explain things fully.
I’ve had an area on my nose that turned out to have both basal and squamous skin cell carcinomas. After the results came back from the biopsy, Dr. Corbo referred me to the MOHS Centre at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto which was excellent). While I was still waiting for the MOHS Centre to get back to me with my appointment, Dr. Corbo had me call him weekly if I had not heard from them. After the Centre called me with my appointment (and I had not called Dr. Corbo back) he called me – to ensure that the appointment at MOHS had been made. I definitely appreciated him referring me there. This is from their website “Mohs micrographic surgery is a detailed surgical procedure to treat aggressive non-melanoma skin cancers, mainly on the face and neck. Mohs surgery is not done as a routine procedure. For most routine skin cancers, simple cutting out (excision) or scraping is done. Patients who come for a Mohs procedure have been selected as having unusual or more difficult tumours because of its type, size, location, or failure of other techniques to produce a cure. Our team of specialized nurses and secretarial staff offer state of the art facilities within a caring environment. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable”. It’s truly an excellent facility and I was impressed with everyone’s care – receptionist, nurses and doctor. I certainly appreciated that Dr. Corbo referred me there. When the MOHS surgeon and nurses were arranging with me about follow-up reoval of my stitches and I mentioned my dermatologist was Dr. Michael Corbo, they spoke very highly of him.
Bottom line – Dr. Corbo is great and I am very thankful to have him as my dermatologist!

• 18 October 2022The best specialist I’ve ever encountered. I can’t say enough good things about him. You can tell he really cares about his patients. It’s very hard to find a doctor with such a kind demeanor and who’s genuine.
Thank you Dr. Corbo
