• 21 March 2022My mother was diagnosed with rectum cancer a few months ago, we were very lucky the GI doctor referred her to Dr. Mohammadali Khorasani for surgery. Dr. Khorasani is very knowledgeable, gentle and patient. He takes time to explain everything to his patients, in our case much more time because my mother doesn’t speak English and I had to translate everything to her. Dr.Khorasani performed a Transanal minimally invasive surgery on my mother and it was very successful. The tumor/cancer was fully removed, and my mother recovered and back to her normal activities after 2 weeks. My mother was expecting excruciating pain after the surgery, however it turned out the pain was quite manageable, she only took the OTC Tylenol pills for the first few days and didn’t take the prescribed opioid pain medication at all. We are very grateful to Dr. Khorasani.
