• 31 May 2022I am writing this because I want to thank you for the care and humanity you have displayed in a time in my life that has been a horror. To be diagnosed with breast cancer at 42 years old and have no cancer in the family blindsided me. Your understanding and care with which you patiently answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns but most of all, listened when I asked you to be careful with the thoracodorsal nerve that could have ended my future career as a paramedic, I thank you. The recovery post op was a breeze and I have full mobility of my shoulder, you are a truly gifted surgeon. The scar from my full mastectomy is so minimal I have already been asked how many years I’ve had it and surprised the tech who asked when I explained it was a month and ten days old.
