This is the best doctor I have ever been treated by. She is knowledgeable and thorough. She is also compassionate and arranges for lab X-ray and other treatments very quickly. She cares about her patients

If you want to be treated like a human being I would run as far from this doctor as possible. I’ve been seeing lots of doctors lately, some better than others, none as terrible as Doctor Khayambashi. I havent reached a diagnosis yet so am unable to speak on her technical ability (she could be very knowledgeable 🤷‍♀️) but her bedside manner is absolutely abhorrent. If you are unable to listen to your patients you have no business being in medicine — especially rheumatology. I saw her because she had the shortest wait list, but I now realize why :). I’m not a big crier but months after my appointment I still cry thinking about how rude and abhorrent her behaviour was towards me. On the bright side, this is a great doctor if you are looking to stroke somebody else’s ego while you’re in excruciating pain, or if you want to develop PTSD from doctors appointments. The other office staff were pleasant to me, so there’s a little win there lol

I saw Dr. Khayambashi May 11, 2021 for the first time. I’ve been struggling a very long time and I finally got an answer/diagnosis.
She was the most efficient, and thorough doctor I’ve seen. I can only review one visit thus far however I will be going back.
To my knowledge she has one receptionist who I hope gets paid $$$$ as she’s so on point and ahead of the game I’ve never been in and out so quickly (1 hour total on the dot start to finish including paperwork, follow up appointment, medical history etc.)

I’m dealing with chronic illness. I’ve seen a lot of doctors. Dr. Khayambashi is the worst to a comical degree.

It’s been months since I saw this doctor but I haven’t stopped thinking about how horribly she treated me. I came to see her as a woman in her early 20s who just graduated university and had to quit my job due to debilitating pain to the point of being bed-ridden. She did order some tests which was lovely, but then said my symptoms were better treated by a dermatologist and there’s no indication that I’m sick. I am disabled and she sent me a cosmetic dermatologist LOL. After the fact I’m able to laugh at this as a sit-com level satire, but it took a lot of tears to get to that point.

I have been Dr. Khayambashi’s patient in Surrey. She took care of me for 4 years. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but is also compassionate and kind. When she moved to north Vancouver I cried in her office. Unfortunately I don’t drive and can’t see her in north Vancouver. I’m still sad to have lost her and still think about her.

It took me 4 months to see Dr khayambashi but she was worth the wait . She listened to my concerns patiently and never rushed me. She has an amazing bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. She treated my arthritis anx i was able to go back to school and finish my studies. She is not only kind but is extremely knowledgeable in her field.
