Patient’s Son
• 12 July 2022If continuity of care is important to you this may not be the doctor for you. She diagnosed my mother with dysphasia last year. We are still waiting for treatment options and a referral to the dysphasia clinic. In the meantime my mother has to go to the emergency department every few weeks for a saline infusion because she can’t swallow enough liquid to stay hydrated. Naturally the emergency department is super annoyed at her when she comes in to seek these services. If they would just allow her to access the appropriate clinics for her diagnosis they are set up to help people in her situation she wouldn’t have to go and be abused just trying to seek hydration therapy. We are even considering ordering IV solution from Amazon and DIY. The only thing we can figure is that she got paid twice to see if my mother and my mother got nothing. My mother feels like she was used so this lady could get paid.
