Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Dr Rydz could not care less about my husband and his severe deterioration of motor skills (while he was on holiday). He never called us back or check on my husband on his return. And on the first visit he showed little empathy for my husbands condition and just wrote a prescription for a higher dosage for the drug he was on. Even while stating my husbands condition was not “normal”, he did not show concern or let us think he was even going to try to investigate a new path of therapy. This “doctor” and yes those are ‘quotation marks’ is just collecting his paycheck, he no longer cares about his patients

Dr Rydz‘s staff is extremely rude completely unprofessional! It is ridiculous that a well regarded, privately funded hospital employs such unmotivated, uncaring people! People in charge should be summarily dismissed and replaced by those befitting the place! Shame!!!

Staff polite and efficient. Dr Rydz explained things, was knowledgeable and we never felt rushed.

I did not have a good experience at all with Dr. Rydz. I waited 1.5 years to see a movement disorder specialist at Jim Pattison neurology while having a very difficult undiagnosed disorder.

When I saw him, he didn’t seem to care about anything outside of the few questions he had for me. He was dismissive of any questions or concerns that I had. It seemed like he had his mind made up on a diagnosis for me before I walked in his door. I have A LOT complex symptoms and he slapped a diagnosis on me in less than 30 minutes without even taking about half of them. The diagnosis he gave created nothing but issues and lack of progress in finding help for my health for the past year. The diagnosis is also being strongly called into question into by other medical professionals.

Besides being very unhelpful to me, his condescending attitude and lack of empathy completely disgust me. It’s sad that there are such a lack of medical professionals especially in specialty areas this is the quality of care is what people who are in great need receive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rydz since 2016 and I have nothing but gratitude for him.
Although young, he is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field, he is compassionate and listens to everything that the patient has to say.
I’ve been seeing him (for YOPD) once every 6 months, and every time I needed him outside of scheduled appointments (for prescription or something), his staff were available to help. They returned my call the next day usually.
