• 6 October 2021I had the enormous luck of seeing Dr. Ra for a colonoscopy as a result of some serious issues I was experiencing. Firstly, Sue, her office secretary was amazing. Professional, helpful and empathic towards my problem. I had to change my procedure date and that was not a problem. I met Dr. Ra at the hospital on the day of my procedure and she was so warm and caring. I immediately felt completely comfortable with a normally non comfortable procedure. I received the results after a few days and Dr. Ra’s office made a virtual follow up appointment. I received my call from Dr. Ra to explain all the results of my test including the biopsies that were done. Given my original problem and the results, I was told to stay on the same medication she had prescribed during our first phone call prior to my procedure (which lasted over a half hour.) I was concerned the medication she prescribed might have an adverse effect to my problem. However, she explained exactly how the medication worked and I now have no issues with continuing it. I understood everything she said and she answered all my questions without hesitation. She did not rush me off the phone and explained every detail of my test results. She also told me to call her office at any time should any of my symptoms change.
I worked for a doctor for almost 20 years and it is very difficult to find an office where you feel the staff and the doctor truly cares about your well being and not just about how many patients they can see in one day. I am one of those patients and so lucky to have found Dr. Ra. She is knowledgeable, professional, kind and made me feel that I was in the best of care. The truth is, with her and her staff, I was. Thank you so much Dr. Ra for everything.
