If you have Dr. Karachiwala as your oncologist, then you are in good hands. From my experience, I found he has genuinely worked on my behalf for the best possible outcome in my battle against cancer.
My treatment plan was developed with my input and concerns taken into account, with follow-ups, meetings with other treatment specialists, scans and other procedures, as needed.
When I had questions or concerns, his dedicated team of nurses and administrative assistants always returned my calls (or voicemails) in a timely fashion with information and help.
Dr. Karachiwala gets to the point on issues, is positive and pragmatic, and is helpful to encourage and coach you through what can be an extremely difficult process.
He has been knowledgeable and patient to answer my questions even though oncologists today are overwhelmingly busy.
He also remembered details about my situation and has thoughtfully acted or followed up with me.
Dr. Karachiwala wants you to get well and will work together with you to help make it happen.
