• 29 October 2022Horrible doctor who couldn’t care less about patients’ well being. Rude, more prepared to offer snide remarks than allow someone to finish explaining their situation.
Went to him due to serious concern of celiac (family history, symptoms, referring doctor concerns) and he explained to me how I was wrong.
Received another referral to a gastro who listened for more than a second, received endoscopy, confirmed celiac.
Do not speak to this horrible person.

• 16 October 2024On reading the previous reviews, I am surprised at the ratings. Dr. Wong saw me a few years ago, and diagnosed me with a MALToma of the lymph in the stomach. His diagnosis was quick and efficient, but our health care system is slow, as they confirmed the diagnosis of MALToma , approximately 4 months after the biopsy was taken. After the problem was confirmed BCCA commenced a treatment plan, and during the time of treatments, Dr. Wong was informed by BCCA, the need for follow up Endoscopies. I always received notifications of appointments at Jimmy Pattison from his office. The office staff was polite and helpful. Dr. Wong, did the procedures, and I had no untoward effects, after the procedure. I was given pictures and results in writing of the exam with explanations, and since my last exam was not completely as expected, due to not having an empty stomach, then he said he would follow up with BCCA, and see if they wanted another exam. I have no complaints of Dr. Wong or his staff. I found himself and his office always to be professional, polite and helpful.
