Margherita Judges (Vella)
• 28 February 2021I had Dr. Sturgeon as my prime Doctor of the team between 1994-1996.
I have no words to describe him other than he was amazing!
His bedside manners and empathy towards his patients are something all doctors should try to emulate.
Cancer is a very scary thing to go through but I always felt better after my appointments with him. He was very caring and understanding.
The treatment I had for my cancer can cause infertility, so the day I told him I was pregnant, I remember he teared up with emotions. That is something I will never forget and will cherish forever.
I have seen many doctors in my lifetime since and no one has matched his compassion.
The day I saw him last was bittersweet. I was happy to hear my cancer was cured/remission and no longer needed to come in for checkups but sad that my time with Dr. Sturgeon was over.

• 2 April 2021our experience was similar to Margherita’s.
My now husband, then boyfriend, was a patient of Dr. Sturgeons in 1996/98 and his compassion, concern, gentleness and empathy were boundless. We felt so very cared for. His bedside manner was not limited to our treatment options but he also supported our relationship. I am very grateful for his kindnesses, care and wisdom.
He is the one person who we miss from that otherwise oh-so-dark time in our lives. He stands out from and is the one person who we have such fond memories of in all the staff who cared for my husband. We think of him from time to time.
Thank you so much Dr. Jeremy Sturgeon. <3
