• 24 May 2021This man is truly the worst doctor I have ever met. So cold and doesn’t have an ounce of empathy for his patients. I was referred to him after suffering from chronic UTI for over 4 years. He prescribed me a few doses of Fosfomycin, and when that didn’t clear it he put me on IV antibiotics for 1 week. It still didn’t clear and he told me he didn’t know what more he could do for me. He told me “My friend suffers from thyroid issues and has to deal with it. You have to learn how to live with this too.” And also told me “Stop thinking of the pain, you are making your body react to every twinge.” imagine saying that to a person who is suffering through life and always has positive urine cultures pointing to infection. I begged him to follow the treatment plan of Dr. Stewart Bundrick from the US, which is long term high dose antibiotics and he refused. I tried to tell him about embedded UTI infections and he brushed me off and laughed in my face. I had to go to the US to meet with Dr. Bundrick and get my antibiotics, and pay out of pocket for my appointments. I am now just finishing 7 months of high dose Bactrim and I am finally completely cured. Had I been left in Dr. Lee’s care, I am sure I would be incredibly ill right now. Please Dr. Lee, educate yourself on embedded UTI infections and how long term high dose antibiotics are needed for them. And please don’t ever imply that a patients symptoms are in their head again, or compare them to one of your friends.
