• 17 April 2024Dr. Thinn Pwint is an uncaring , rude and an unconcerned Oncologist. My husband was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. After surgery, we had an appointment with Dr. Pwint in Kamloops hosp. She told us to wait for treatment, since the CT, didn’t show her any concerns of cancer. Finally, 3 months later, I asked Kelowna hosp for a second opinion. That Dr did a PET scan that showed lots if Cancer. Dr. Pwint, then told us she couldn’t help us and we need to find another Oncologist. She also told as she showed us the door, that we probably wouldn’t be able to find a new Oncologistist. It took a year from surgery to Chemo . My husband died. Everyone is entitled to a 2nd opinion, but apparently not.
