• 12 December 2023This is a thank you to Dr. Slusar for saving my life. I was taken to emergency in calgary for c.diff. When i finished my round of antibiotics I was told I could go home because there was nothing more they could do for me. I kinda thought maybe I should go home with antibiotics but I am not a doctor. I never knew I could get a second round of c.diff which I did. I have no memory for five days, just fragments here and there and i didnt know you could be that sick and live. He came every day and answered my questions and was so concerned but this time he sent me home with antibiotics which I found out later calgary should have done for me. I am into my 9th week with no signs of it coming back. I still get a little concerned and scared if I have a “sign” of maybe getting it again, however according to Mayo Clinic if it comes back it will be in days to 8 weeks. In this case a “thank you” is with gratitude and recognition that he really did “save” me. My most sincere thanks to him for me being here writing a review. You are an awesome and amazing doctor but I seriously never want to see you again (lol).
