One review of “Dr Adeel Khan”

Honestly, he used to be great, he has skills, but he became obsessed with travelling and opening other clinics so that milestone appointments get missed and he completely loses track of his patients. I see he still has IHM listed as an employer- he is no longer there. He went out on his own and now has 1 doctor as back up (Dr. Smith) who knows little about prp or fat grafting. While Dr. Khan was away, he misdiagnosed me and put “pain management only” so I had to fight to get an appointment with Dr Khan when he finally returned. This confusion resulted in me going 6 months without proper treatment. I ended up going back to HMI and there’s where I learned that Dr. Khan missed 2 torn Labrums and the treatment he gave me (stem cells) was wrong- he should have done fat grafts (my own cells) to cover my shoulder tears but instead, gave me stem cells that weren’t mine (worts gel) By the end, Dr. Khan was only glancing at ultrasounds, rushing around, and counting on his staff to handle way too much. Be aware that his Executive Assistant (Sandra) will read details of your medical file if you raise questions about your level of care and say things like “those tears must be new…” I couldn’t believe it. She is like the Lion at the gate for Dr Khan’s practice, and is very passive aggressive. His procedures are now way overpriced and his staff or very unapologetic about it. Basically, I think he got too big for his britches and I’m relieved to be back at IHM with his once Mentor Dr. Galea, who listens and understands why I’m so frustrated with the level of care I received.
