• 30 June 2021Do not recommend. Called to get a new prescription for medication. The phone call was 5 minutes and he just talked over me and brushed off my concerns and questions. Had side effects called the office spoke to reception and they told me to go to ER. Went to ER spoke to the doctor there who said I never should’ve been put on that medication in the first place. If you want an incompetent doctor that only cares about money and not their patients go to Dr. Walus
Deeply Concerned
• 28 July 2021A family Member of mine just had their monthly phone appointment and yet again I’m floored ! She does her calls on speaker phone always with a witness present.
due to the medication she is on they do random drug tests which is understandable to prevent death from people using illegal drugs while on some medications, which she’s happy to have done, but with some understanding and convenience that it be ordered in Woodstock where she resides at any professional lab or the hospital.
Walus asked her to come in today or tomorrow. She said she could get someone to drive her tomorrow into the office or be at the hospital or any Medical lab here in Woodstock within 5 min. He refused and demands she attend his doctors office. She politely asked why she couldn’t do it here in Woodstock and have a requisition sent today and do it within minutes.
He flat out said arrogantly “ because you could take anyone’s urine in”
disgusted with his comments she politely said “ I’m Confused , you’re saying your doctors office is more secure than a hospital or professional medical laboratory?”
He said “ yes we have our bathroom here and the testing “
So not sure how this “doctor” thinks a HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL LABORATORY fully equipped to do these secure tests are less safe and protected than his little office.
She barely ever drinks alcohol for Christ sakes !! His arrogant ignorance to make such a comment to a patient with ZERO history of alcohol or drug use is absolutely disgusting.
Not to mention part of her medications is using cannabis (AS Recommend by her pain clinic and previous doctor ) which she uses 3/4 less than recommended , but if she’s had to use her cannabis how does she drive all the way to Kitchener for a test that can be performed at a secure hospital or professional lab!
This individual has NO BUSINESS being a doctor let alone in the medical field what so ever.
He lacks all respect , decency and professionalism. Let alone forethought about his patients ability to travel or their well-being.
If you don’t ever like this “doctors” conduct he tells you he’s happy to no longer be your doctor which he has told her in the past as well as other family and friends that have the displeasure of being forced to be part of this persons practise after the amazing Dr John Neary who retired left in this Incompetent disrespectful “doctors” hands. Walus knows the predicament he places patients in with the doctor shortage and inability to just get another doctor.
As a nurse I’m disgusted and appalled with the conduct of this doctor time and time again.
Patients will suffer avoiding having to see this doctor. The distress he forces on his patients is heartbreaking. You should be able to trust and connect with your doctor as it’s your health care professionals job to ensure your wellbeing trumps his horrible ignorant arrogant narcissistic behaviour.
If you by some miracle have the ability to switch doctors do so with haste !!
Search of this Walus has proven no information other than being newly certified in 2017 from Western University.
He clearly needs to change professions.
