• 10 April 2023Dr C.A. Staples did a CT review of ONE of my spinal CT’s without taking into consideration ANYTHING about my history or previous CT’s and made some very arrogant remarks in her “Impressions” on the report. Suggesting my compression fractures (which were not on my CT in 2014) “possibly relate to prior juvenile apophysitis”. When dealing with WorkSafeBC, it is remarks like this that create a literal nightmare for injured workers! I am now forced to go through a massive process of proving something I should not even be having to think about. They already have all the proof of my injuries. But NO, one little remark is all it takes to create doubt – that is unfounded! – and throw a person’s life into a virtual nightmare of several years of fighting through appeals for what is right and just. Think about that before you make a remark like that next time in your diagnosis. If you DO NOT have valid proof, why are you even saying such a thing? And why are you not comparing the current CT to other reports on file? I cannot get the help I need for MY quality of life when just one doctor such as yourself thinks an opinion like this is somehow justified.
