• 11 March 2022I went to emerg Feb 21 at 1am while having a TIA and cannot say enough about the care I received. I saw Dr Kirschner 3 times and he consulted with a stroke neurologist after getting results from each of a CT Head scan, an ECG and a Carotid Bilateral ultrasound. I felt safe and was monitored for 9 hours, had blood work done, a heart image and vitals checked at least 8 times. I was sent home with an ASA rx and assurance that I would have an appt scheduled with the stroke neurologist in a few days, which I did. I’m currently writing this review because I was checking to see if he accepted new patients. I found him to be very thorough, professional and compassionate, and left the Sturgeon Hosp feeling that everything possible had been done to make sure I was ok. I received exceptional care from Dr. Kirschner and all other front line workers.

• 2 January 2023I have asthma and caught RSV. He was super caring, amazing bedside manner but most of all knew his stuff. I have had to go the the ER several times in the past when I have caught something and it aggravates my asthma and none of my inhalers would help. He took the time to explain why the regime I was doing was not working then showed me what I should be doing and WHY. He taught me what I needed to do so I do not have to go back to the ER and use up valuable resources. Great man. Wonderful sense of humour as well.

• 14 July 2023I can honestly say I don’t ever leave posts so I hope people understand please ask for another emerg doctor as this puke literally could careles about patients. My 6 year old broke her ankle and was seen by this loser. She had a cast put on and we were told by this loser of a doctor that he would send in a referral as she needed a follow up within a week to make sure the cast was set properly, how the healing is, etc. Guess what this loser never sent a referral in after 3 days!!! So we called to followup up and they said oh he might have forgotten and that he was coming in tonight and he would send it in. Guess what, he never did. So we have gone 5 days with a 6 year old with a broken ankle in unbelievable pain and still no follow up. Please for all things good stay away from this low life that is more concerned about going on holidays than patient care of a 6 YEAR OLD. Guys like this should be revoked of there license and go deliver pizzas.

• 6 April 2024My 81 year old father in law went to the ER after a bad fall and pneumonia, having spent 11 hrs on the floor. This doctor ordered a chest xray and antibiotics and discharged him with a diagnosis of “blunt trauma” without ever having assessed him. He was in the ED for 19 hours and never saw a doctor in person. This is a despicable way to practice medicine and there is no excuse for not even seeing your patients.

• 5 September 2024Extremely rude. Uncaring. Arrogant. Heavy handed. Egotistical, finds every way to put the patient down and provides no service. He appears to be a miserable person, should not be a Dr.
