• 4 September 2021Dr Percy performed an appendectomy on me in the summer of 2021. Dr Percy advised me that the surgery was successful but my appendix had burst requiring considerable flushing of my abdominal area. I returned to visit Dt Percy some 3 weeks later explaing my concernss about post-operative discomfort and he advised me that my discomfort would ease after 6 weeks. After 10 weeks passed I began experiencin increasin pain and attempted to revisit Dr Percy on the advice of my GP. Dr Percy seemed to become difficult to revisit sending me robotic msgs offsetting a petsonal visit I had requested, At this point I decided to seek a second opinion.

• 16 September 2021Upon my most recent request, Dr. Percy was very accommodating and granted me a second post-operative visit taking his time to gove me a physical examination. He stated that if the discomfort continued, over the next 8-10 weeks, that he would likely order a scan to determine any source of discomfort. I’m very satisfied it Dr Percy’s prognosis!

• 16 February 2022Dr. Percy performed an emergency cholecystectomy in the middle of the night July 27/21 at Comox Hospital. I was in septic shock as the gall bladder was gangrenous and had perforated. His decisive actions and remarkable skills have allowed me to continue my life and I am now and always will be eternally thankful. Bless him.

• 23 January 2023On January 19/23 I saw Dr. Percy because I have a hiatus hernia.
I was told – “we might do something for a forty-year-old but do not like to do anything for older people”.
I am about to turn 82. I have my own home, still do all the yard work myself including cutting the grass but I am a right off because I am old.
At one point in our conversation he said “pop a pill”
I try not to abuse the system, after three months of a bad pain at times when I ate I finally went to my GP and then it took another three months to be told by a specialist that I am dispensable.
As he left the office he turned to me and said “I looked at the x-ray and you do have a hernia”
I know I am old but really do believe that is why I was sent to a specialist!!!
