• 18 September 2022I’ve had several sessions with Dr. E. Osita Nnabuchi, and he gave me back my life. He’s easy to talk to, a good listener, understanding — he “gets” it. Even has a sense of humour. Treats me like a competent adult. Came up with a drug that has made me feel better than I have for 50 years. Oh happy day!
When life got heavy recently, I saw him again, and he has been every bit as helpful.

• 27 October 2022Terrible! Does not listen. Has zero interest in working with doctors or with other therapists for proper treatment of patients. Multiple misdiagnosis. Recommends one form of therapy, to find out a year later a different therapy should have been done.

• 5 December 2022Dr. Emmanuel Nnabuchi, is terrible. He has never not made me think that my feelings are not valid. He refuses to listen to anything I have to say and takes only 10 mins per appointment claiming he knows me more than my therapist who meets with me for an hour each time. He has dismissed any concerns or feelings I may have. I don’t cry during the appointments but I definitely have cried afterwards.

• 17 December 2022Incompetent. Does not complete risk assessment, actively employs bias, regularly interrupts to ask inappropriate and demeaning questions. Employs confirmation bias to reinforce misogynistic ignorance of colleagues that he “likes”. Harmful & traumatizing. Will not explain rationale behind conclusions, nor differential diagnosis. Reactive and overly emotional. Does not understand social determinants of health. WASTE OF HEALTHCARE DOLLARS.

• 2 February 2023Dr. Nnabuchi’s note taking is not reliable. Therefore, my first introduction report has incorrect information. He mixed up my past and present situations and blended them together. It seems he makes more of an unorganized informal report therefore making it unclear for the reader to understand what it is he is truly saying.
I requested by email for him to make a amended report and he refused my request. He also hung up on me and told me he doesn’t have time to talk to me because he has other patients, yet he called me.
Just know, if you see this man make sure you know what he is writing in his reports about you. His not taking is terrible and his report writing is poor.
He is rude and unbelievably unprofessional and definitely not there to help you.

• 2 February 2023I have never been treated like this by a medical provider. He consistently talked to me like a child, did not explain medication, and blamed me when I was worried about said medication. I have been discharged because the first medication combination didn’t work and he no longer knew what to do with me. If I hadn’t been discharged I would not return anyways. I do not trust this man with my medical decisions

• 4 February 2023Further to the reviews seen on this page, my and my husband’s experience with this “professional” was disgusting. He refuses to answer any questions about his practice or his first-hand experience dealing with ADHD. He was dismissive to my husband who was supposed to undergo a 1-hour assessment. Rather than asking anything that would ascertain a diagnosis, he determined that it was not necessary as everything sounded fine based on some surface-level, introductory questions. Avoid this psychiatrist.

• 30 March 2023Dr Nnabuchi is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE doctor, literally yelled at me on the phone upon asking if I could do an over the phone appointment due to an emergency. Invalidated all my feelings and made me feel small. Avoid at ALL COST

• 28 May 2023Fixing my review since I pasted it wrong previously.
I requested an appointment for almost a month to change my meds or increase. I was told he couldn’t see me until JULY! Finally, 3 weeks later, they knew I ran out of medication, and my insurance wouldn’t accept the prescription they wrote. I told them I was going through withdrawal, had to call out of work, and I needed help. Want to know their response? I needed to be considerate and understand that they have other patients. If I experience any heart issues, call 9-1-1. I’m a mother, work fulltime and also a university student. They left me unable to get out of bed. I have been throwing up, sweating, and feel depression coming strong. Thanks Dr. Nanbuchi!!! Appreciate you and your rude secretary that wouldn’t call me back in early May. But hey, selfish me demanding help almost a month later

• 30 May 2023This person shouldn’t be practicing medicine. A complete waste of time, I left his office feeling very triggered, unvalidated and without any measure of help!
I arrived 12 minutes late for my session as I accidentally had the wrong time in my mind and hadn’t doubled checked until it was too late. I called ahead and let reception know I would be a bit behind.
I got into his office and there was no one else there except the receptionist and Dr. Nnabuchi. He made me wait an additional 12 minutes before coming out to bring me in.
I was referred to him by my doctor to treat my ADHD. He was more interested in asking me questions about the only other time I saw a psychiatrist, which was in 2000 and irrelevant (not ADHD). Each time He asked me a question about how the ADHD was affecting me, I would start to answer and he would speak over me (cutting me off), asking other questions that were completely irrelevant to the first. This went on for about 15 minutes. I realized that he wasn’t interested in hearing about how the ADHD was negatively affecting me and the people close to me.
After finding out that I have worked in the same position with the same company since 2011 he said ” you aren’t suffering enough to get an ADHD diagnosis. You can get one from someone else if you wish but not from me” at that point it was 5 to the hour, he sat forward in his chair with a closed lip blank stare on his face and would say nothing else.
I couldn’t believe it! I asked.. so what now? .. nothing. What do we do? .. nothing. I said, so your not going to do anything at all to help me? He replied, my next patient is coming in, you need to leave.
I was flabbergasted! I stood up, he never flinched. remained seated in his cold blank stare out the window. I had to show myself out of his office.
I was in front of him (a stranger) for a total of 25 mins and he had my life and my ADHD summed up and dismissed.
I had a very hard time regulaing my emotions for the rest of the day. It took me 5 days to settle myself after this abusive session in order to write this review.
If I had taken the time to read these reviews before going to see him, I would have most definitely canceled.
Nothing good to say about this.. Do yourself a favor and see someone else

• 20 June 2023Office doesn’t care about you or your medication needs. The clinic will tell you the day before you go out of town that they require three days notice to refill your prescription. Michelle will not tell you the day you call that this is their company policy. Michelle will only tell you the company policy once you have issued an a complaint, and threaten to go to the Better Business Bureau. This physicians office does not care about their patients. This physicians office does not care about their patients betterment. This physicians office would rather hang up on a mental health. Patient with medication needs then actually communicate to them their company policy. Thank you Michelle. Please check out a different psychiatrist. If the 1.6 review doesn’t tell you maybe that should

• 24 August 2023This psychiatrist was referred by my family physician Dr. A. Rahim who has always sent me to excellent specialists. Dr. Nnabuchi is no exception. I have seen him twice and have found him to be very kind and easy to talk to. I felt that he showed real interest. Actually, he is kind enough to include my son and daughter at our appointments. Thank you Dr. Rahim and Dr. Nnabuchi for caring.

• 28 November 2023I was a bit apprehensive for my first apt. after reading the reviews, but I personally had a good experience. He was on time, kind, paying attention to what I was saying, asking relevant questions. I did not feel rushed at all. He took the time to explore the issues I was facing, and his recommendations made sense to me. Pleasantly surprised!
Unhappy and disgusted with this man
• 22 February 2024Dr. Nnabhuchi is clearly an arrogant and harmful person who should not be treating patients. He did HARM to my son today and showed no compassion or care and made my son’s symptoms (that he dismissed as even being real). He dismissed the diagnosis of a psychologist who specializes in OCD and has spent hours speaking with my son. Dr N was belligerent and he did actual harm. I am disgusted by the way he treated his patient and his arrogance and inability to ask the right questions or even attempt to give a through and proper diagnosis. This man should not be practising and I wish someone in the medical field would take these reviews seriously and take away his license. Highly recommend NEVER seeing this man. Beg your doctor for another referral.
