• 13 June 2022Physician gave me an impossible diagnosis. I am a 41-year-old college educated female and she gave me the diagnosis of a 75-year-old man. I even looked this up on a website today called STATPEARLS. For my injury–and I quote – “Epidemiology…Cervical disc injuries due to disc herniation affect people in their thirties to forties due to disc herniation, and degenerative disc disease affects people older than 50 years of age.”
Ivy league educated physiatrists, “We see this as a trauma for people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s and as a degenerative condition in their 60s and 70s” I was WAY too young (not to mention that I don’t have a manual labour job) to be diagnosed with DDD.
To say Jennifer Liztenberger is a terrible physician is an understatement. I was diagnosed right away with an acute cervical disc herniation by three physiotherapists. I was injured on Mar 6, Mar 13 I had my first appt with a physiotherapist and she diagnosed me with a cervical disc injury. I went to a new physiotherapist and had an analysis on Mar 28 and he also diagnosed me with acute cervical disc herniation, C5-C6.
Looking back now, I think that I could’ve had a chance of a full recovery. Had I received medical care. In a timely manor.
However, because I went to Kinesis “Medical” Centre, I did not receive the correct diagnosis. I have not worked in any capacity in a year and a half. I have not r/c any medical treatment since I started going to Kinesis “Medical” Centre 2 years and 10 months ago – as I was unable to appeal my case with a inaccurate diagnosis. I really needed to go back to P.T. (manual therapy is unfortunately needed for cervical disc herniation – it says this on ORTHOBULLETS, Unfortunately I can’t do manual therapy on my neck myself~!)
0/10. Terrible physician. Terrible person. To add insult to injury, she had the audacity to complain to me that she doesn’t make enough money (because her clinic staff is “expensive”) – and I’m sitting here with half my body numb.
