• 8 October 2022This review is also on “Review My Doctor” and Google Reviews under “Prisma Health Care Collaborative”
I was traumatized. Betrayal Trauma as Dr. Mammoliti herself would say. Atone, Attune, Attach, Dr. M. Mea Culpa. You are never wrong to do the right thing.
I suppose now is my time to write my review. I am a harmed patient of Dr. Maryna Mammoliti. It is coming up to the 2-year timeline (when I can actually still DO something about this), and I am about ready to give up. I urge anyone reading this to first watch the episode entitled “Stacked Odds” on W5. My time is running out. If you happen to have been harmed by Dr. Mammoliti, please comment.
Not many Canadians know that there is something called the CMPA in in Canada. It’s called the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Canadian doctors pay a membership fee which is reimbursed by the respective province the doctor practices in. Again, please google “Stacked Odds” on W5 (just google it). Doctors essentially receive free legal representation, and it is almost impossible for patients to plead their cases of harm and malpractice.
Dr. Mammoliti has at least THREE complaints against her with the CPSO – that we know of. One she herself told me about (and writes about extensively in her articles – would LOVE to hear the other side of that story). Myself, and another patient that wrote a google review – only knowing to link Dr. Mammoliti with Prisma Healthcare Collaborative in London, Ontario.
I believe I will have to keep writing and speaking my truth, as Dr. Mammoliti seems to jump practice locations about every 2 years. Thompson Medical, Prisma, and now Sunrise. Who is this doctor that claims she feels she should get out of medicine? Is burnt out? Is a “boundary” expert? It will eventually come out that she knows no boundaries – and not in a good way.
Dr. Mammoliti falsified my medical records, among many other things. I have in writing that she told me she was essentially the only person in my corner. I was completely dependent on her. She dropped me from her practice during the height of the pandemic – knowing that I also did not have primary care. I reported her to the CPSO. The CPSO is a group made up of a doctor’s peers. So, unless they find a doctor guilty of sexual misconduct, they essentially do nothing (Dr. Mammoliti herself told me this). You do have your right to appeal and have the HPARB look into it, but good luck with that. They also make grave errors (just take a look at their website and typos). The system is totally rigged. She knows that she is untouchable for the time being.
There is no middle class for mental health. Dr. Mammoliti openly advertises that she prefers to treat other professionals such as doctors, lawyers and dentists. She claims to be an expert on Eating Disorders and ADHD. A cursory google search of her would indicate otherwise.
I did everything I could to be professional, and Dr. Mammoliti drove me out of London and Toronto. I have been without primary care for 2 years now. I am out of the province and still am experiencing challenges obtaining healthcare.
Please stay tuned. There will be more to come. If you happen to be afraid of Dr. Mammoliti, you are not alone. What is dark will eventually come into the light. I encourage you to obtain your medical records if you have a bad feeling.

• 1 November 2022Dr. Maryna Mammoliti has at least THREE COMPLAINTS against her filed with the CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons Ontario). 3 that are known, that is. One she writes and speaks about openly in her articles and podcasts. Me, and another harmed patient. Complaining to the CPSO is a start – although it is made up of a doctor’s peers, and Dr. Mammoliti herself told me that nothing happens with complaints – unless the complaint can be proven to be sexual in nature. However, mine had enough merit to be appealed through the HPARB (Health Professionals Appeal and Review Board).
I encourage anyone who has had a negative encounter with Dr. Mammoliti to explore these avenues. If you have money to spare and a good lawyer, you may succeed in fighting the CMPA (Canadian Medical Protective Association). Canadian doctors pay fees to this organization that are reimbursed by their respective provinces. So yes, we the taxpayers are paying for the doctor’s defense against us should we dare suggest they have harmed us.
I have stayed quiet for almost 2 years. Why do you ask? I was trying to follow the letter of the law and the statutes of limitations. A patient only has 2 years to claim harm. Dr. Mammoliti was lucky this time – with delays due to covid eating the lion’s share of that time.
I think what hurts most is that Dr. Mammoliti went on and on and on about how she couldn’t take me on as a patient. Then she did. She did, and then ensured that I was completely dependent on her. She isolated me from any type of group I tried to align myself with – including religion and family. That was all ‘well and good,’ but that left only her – with my mental health in her hands. She just kept prescribing me more and more drugs. Increased doses. I was a veritable zombie. Then she discharged me during the height of the pandemic – when I needed her the most.
I sincerely do not know how she sleeps at night. For the longest time, I thought I was the only one that was so crushed by her. But I wasn’t and I am not. Reviews continue to come out. She preaches ‘boundaries,’ but she herself knows none. Her care was re-traumatizing and confusing. I am so very sorry that I ever came across her path, and I wish with every fibre of my being that she didn’t take me on.
She falsified my records, and I was unable to garner or continue care in Ontario. I have now moved out of the province, and Dr. Mammoliti still haunts me. Her name has come up in my new records, and I didn’t even mention it (I mentioned the harm, not her name).
Well, my 2 years is about up. Perhaps still time to gather a claim…..but doubtful. I will never stop trying to raise awareness about the CMPA. It is an antiquated act of Parliament that has been around for at least 100 years. For anyone paying attention, those were the times of Residential schools and the ‘Indian’ Act. Thankfully, that Act is now abolished – as the CMPA should be.

• 16 April 2024I am writing on behalf of myself and my friend. We were both patients of Dr. Mammolitti until about 7 months ago when we were both unceremoniously dumped for essentially no reason. She told my friend that it was because her father had cancer but because she terminated both of us at the same time, I do not believe this. She is now a “Life Coach.” She has no location information on where her practice is located. She has a history of “dumping” patients. Her behaviour is extremely unprofessional and when she terminated both of us so abruptly, I believe she violated her Hippocratic oath. Stay far away from this so-called doctor.
