• 20 March 2022I was referred to Dr. Armanyous for anxiety and chronic insomnia. When I mentioned that I endured a childhood of sexual assaults by family members his first question was “were you fully penetrated” ?
He then challenged my knowledge of the Canadian criminal code relating to the statute of limitations for charging a family member with sexual assault. This was extremely triggering for me while his female assistant sat beside him appearing shocked.
I then emailed a letter to Dr. Armanyous indicating the words he chose during the consultation were inappropriate, and he had no idea what he was talking about when it came to Canadian law. He responded by sending police to apprehend me. The first person I spoke with was a social worker who stated “Diane you can’t go around pissing of psychiatrists” This Doctor should have his license revoked.
