• 17 November 2021November is mental health month. Yesterday i was informed by Dr. Afolabi’s receptionist that my medical mask exemption is no longer good at their clinic. I retrieved a copy of the latest health order but in place by Sask top doc, and read the section to my doctor that deals with health clinics and mask exemptions. It very specifically says that my mask exemption is not only valid and in force, it complies with the rules in the latest health mandate. Despite this im told im not allowed to go to my doctor, and my doctor after hearing how their new “policy” contravenes the new health order, both refused to supply a copy of the “policy” or to acknowledge that my medical mask exemption is lawful and dealt with under the mandate. The clinic, Hillcrest Medical is in violation of both the health mandate and the city of Moose Jaw bylaws. This is not a private facility, they do not get to act outside of the governing rules, this clinic is putting mental health patients at risk, in the month of November, mental health month. Great jog Dr. Afalobi, your hurting your patients and your eroding the freedom and rights of everyone in Saskatchewan. You should be ashamed of your actions, in the mental health month and the time of remembrance, your policy is both illegal, morally repugnant, and extremely uncanadian. I came to this doctor for help and instead got discriminated against for my medical condition, and having a legal medical mask exemption. Shame on you Dr.Afolabi.
