• 8 October 2021My child was seen by Dr. Rahmanian. She was not nice to my child. She did not explain what she was doing and what it was for. I felt like she was trying to quickly finish our session with her. My daughter was scared seeing the foot-long scope that will be inserted through her nose, the scope might have been more than a foot. But she did not show compassion and instead told me to restrain my child and called another person outside to hold my child still. Her patient is a child, anyone would be horrified seeing a foot-long scope going into their body. She did not have compassion for my scared daughter. It was an emotional trauma for my child. Instead of acknowledging my child’s feelings, she said “Well, I can’t help you if I can’t look in your mouth or nose. Do you understand that?” My child understood, but she is too scared to let a scope go into her nose. The doctor did not even acknowledge my crying child.
After my child cried, I asked her about how she felt and she said “I felt scared because of the things they were doing, they were doing like it would hurt. The doctor was kind of mean. She was forcing me to do it when I did not want to.”
Even my child felt that she was not being kind to us. We did not even get education from the doctor what she will be doing with my daughter before we started the session, at least to give consent to procedures. It was a horrible experience.

• 8 March 2023This experience with the doctor has been one of the most repugnant and disgusting experiences of my life. She made an attempt to gain knowledge of my medication’s and humiliate me for past addiction issues. I live in Squamish and therefore this appointment probably took around four hours from beginning to end. I was humiliated and degraded all of which I luckily recorded on my iPhone, which I will be using to report her to the college of physicians for her behaviour. In the end, I only got a sinus spray that I actually already received from an ER doctor with identical instructions. This person told me five times that the reason I have a problem with my nose is because I’m a coke head, I have not done cocaine in two years and I am clean and sober, a fact which she mocked and made clear that she did not believe me. I have no words. This woman is repulsive.
