• 22 November 2021The Dr. Sai Ming Simon Woo’s report dated Aug. 27, 2021 (attached), received by the Ministry of Public Safety, BC-Road Safety- Medical fitness program, despite its dishonesty, despite the MoCA test results was made available to Dr. Woo prior to submitting his report to The Ministry was not objectively analyzed by your Adjucator Mr. P. Mulholland and your letters of Sept 03, 2021, and Oct 7, 2021.
During Dr. Woo’s first zoom session of June 2020, Dr. woo diagnosed me remotely on “hearsay” basis and in less than 10 minutes with “Mid Dementia “. Dr. woo during this session and 14 months afterwards (to Aug 27, 2021) never showed any concerns regarding my driving abilities, nor he wrote to the Ministry of public Safety, BC in this regard for their actions.
Dr. Woo never followed up until Aug 27, 2021, by his second zoom session.
The medications Dr. Woo claims to have instructed my GP (Dr. J. Baxter) was not provided to me until Feb 01, 2021, that is 7 months after Dr. Woo’ diagnosis (Remedy RX Cowrie Pharmacy supplied me on Feb. 01, 2021, with Risperidone 0.5mg (RX 1088472). That is 7 months upon Dr. Woo zoom session of June 2020 (photo attached).
RoadSafetyBC have made no attempts, whatsoever, to verify the accuracy of Dr. Woo’s report rushing into hasty action to follow the report’s dishonest and contradictory statements.
At no point did Dr. Woo’s report of Aug 27, 2021, questioned my mental abilities as stated in other than Dr. Woo’s accusation of me being impulsive, rather. Regarding my mental abilities Dr. Woo in his report agreed with the MoCA results submitted to Ministry of Public Safety, BD-RoadSafety by DR. Ceri Stratimg letter dated Oct 15, 202) (attached).
Why DR. Woo waited for 14 months (Jun 2020- Aug 27, 2021) to report my driving unfitness to the Ministry of Public Safety, BC (attached)?
Dr. Woo never saw me or examined me physically (June 2020 to to-date). He tried to see me on Oct and Nov 2021, but I declined due to his dishonesty and unprofessionalism.
Dr. Woo never included in his report the reasons why I was not cooperating with him, and why I did terminate the Zoom Session of Aug 27, 2021. My cooperation with Dr. Woo went to the point of Dr. Woo’s accusation of me as “Shop-Lifting” and “Peeing in Public Spaces” which were never mentioned in Dr. Woo’s report of Aug 27, 2021, altogether.

• 5 August 2022Dr. Sai Ming Simon Woo is vindictive, retaliatory who needs psychiatric treatments.
Upon my disagreeing with Simon in a zoom session diagnosis of mild dementia in June 2020, promoted to Major Cognitive disorder in another Zoom session ib Aug 27, 2021., Dr.Woo wrote a confidential report to the Ministry of Public Safety, Bc, RoadSafetyBc that led to revolting my drivelling privileges. I obtained the report thru the “freedom of Information ACT”. He refuses to admit to his false report, he does not undo his criminal actions.

• 24 March 2023I would not recommend Dr. Woo to anybody. So much was wrong with the appointment I had with him.
First of all, most specialists will check at the start of the appointment that you understand the purpose of the appointment. This usually feels pretty strange to me, except in this case I had thought this was a first appointment of a possible long-term therapeutic relationship; he did not clarify for me that it was an assessment (or for that matter, that it was a 75-minute appointment).
One of the things that he told me was that his wife lets her emotions get in the way of her getting things done but that he just gets things done, and that I should just get things done, too.
Regarding anxiety, he asked me what made me anxious, and I mentioned money. He told me that I shouldn’t be anxious about it, that I should just invest it now, let the interest accrue, and that I’d be just fine. I’m… umm… in my 60’s, and he had absolutely no idea whatsoever about what my concerns were or where things were at for me financially, let alone that his advice was not only unwelcome and rather condescending but also totally useless and inappropriate.
The appointment had been going on for more than an hour at this point, and I just wanted it to end. He didn’t say anything about what would come next, and I didn’t ask because I had no intention of ever working with him again.
Well, he had mentioned to me that he believed I needed CBT therapy; after this appointment, he referred me for therapy despite my having told him that I’m currently working with a therapist I like very much and, while she’s not specifically a CBT therapist, she includes those principles in her work with me. How dare he refer me to a different therapist!
When I later saw his report, I found that he had completely missed a major event in my life that probably marked the beginning of the challenges I currently face. I guess he was too fixated on giving me financial advice.
This doctor is young and lacks the kind of life experience (or at least the maturity and empathic awareness) that he needs as a psychiatrist, especially when working with seniors. He certainly should not be working as a geriatric psychiatrist.

• 24 June 2023I left an appointment with this ‘doctor’ feeling as if I was the lowest person in the world. He sat silently while this unfortunate resident struggled over the script she was following under Woo’s supposedly attentive ear. She had little empathy or compassion, upbraiding me for suggesting the antidepressants I had been given for 20 years had done me damage that is obvious to other doctors I have talked to. But not to Woo. It took me a full week to recover from this charlatan’s abuse.

• 26 January 2024Vindictive retaliatory behavior. over a 15 mins Zoom Session on June 05, 2020, diagnosis Mild dementia did not follow up until Aug 27, 2021 again thru a zoom session causing me of shoplifting and peeing in public spaces. Upon my termination of this soon Wrote to RoadsafetyBC to suspend my driving privileges promoting is diagnosis to Major Nero-cognetive disorder, Alzheimer debase, not able to make decision for myself. Unfortunately, RoadsafetyBC took this report at its face value, suspending my driving previlige. Dr. Woo is professional, unethical immoral, not trustworthy.
