• 30 July 2023Dr. Thomas provided a timely and very thorough examination of my 11 year old daughter when we arrived at the Grand Marais Urgent Care Clinic. My daughter was experiencing intense stomach pains, these had occurred on other occasions over the previous 2 months and had been incorrectly diagnosed by other doctors. Dr. Thomas suspected an appendix issue and referred her immediately to a doctor at the Met Hospital ER where she was immediately CT scanned and then sent to Victoria Hospital in London by ambulance. Her appendix had been ruptured for several weeks, it was inflamed and infected with significant fluid in the abdominal area requiring immediate intervention by the pediatric specialists at Victoria. Thank you Dr. Thomas for the very professional assessment of my daughter’s situation, you may have saved her life.
