• 11 March 2021In my 60 years of having dealt with various Doctors/Specialists, I can honestly say that of all the Doctors I have seen, I feel blessed to have been referred to Doctor Shukla in early 2020. Talk about a compassionate, caring Doctor, who makes sure that you fully understand each and every test he is ordering, and what the results were. He also ensures that any follow up that is needed, is booked ASAP, and you are notified, just as quickly, by his wonderful office assistant, Gayle. If you are being referred to a GI specialist, I would highly recommend that you ask if you can be seen by Dr. Shukla. He will definitely explain everything when you first see him, after any tests you are having done, and will book a follow up to see how you are doing, 4-6 months later. You definitely feel taken care of by him, and he truly alleviates any concerns you may have by being so thorough, unlike some doctors that seem like they just don’t have the time.

• 11 May 2021It was Dr. Shukla whom I received my colon cancer diagnosis from. It was the worst day of my life to hear this news, but Dr. Shukla was incredibly empathetic, kind, and provided me with the necessary information on how to combat this illness moving forward. He referred me to my surgeon, Dr. Daigle, in an incredibly timely manner. Additionally, he quickly helped me book a further CT scan – I really appreciated the sense of urgency I felt from Dr. Shukla. Thank you so much to Dr. Shukla for your help on my cancer journey!
