• 8 December 2021I have been Doctor Lominy’s patient for approximately 5 years now. Here is what to expect: She is extremely apathetic. You will be interrupted every 15 seconds when trying to explain how you feel. You have a time limit (15 – 20 minutes) and if you go beyond that, you will be interrupted and asked to schedule another appointment, even if you’re in tears and in pain. Expect some horrible customer service. You will have to be the one to recommend tests and diagnostics, as she simply doesn’t know or care about your situation. Patients are a dollar sign to Dr. Lominy. Once you’re out and she’s paid, she will not do a follow-up with you. I have had amenorrhea for the last year and a half and Dr. Lominy didn’t care to help me figure out the problem, even when I was crying about my missing periods and the instability that it had brought to my life. When I asked to get a couple of tests for my thyroid (common reason for irregular periods), she told me, “ok and if everything comes back normal, then what?”. That is when I knew I needed a new family doctor. Met with a new doctor, and after a couple of tests turns out I had PCOS. I was told by my new doctor that amenorrhea leads to a build up in your uterine lining, raising the chances of abnormal cell growth and endometrial cancer. Also, I can expect difficulty conceiving in the future. Do not expect Dr. Lominy to care about you or your condition. It’s better to go to a walk-in clinic or get on a waiting list than to go through the disregard and disrespect I went through. What a waste of my time and tax-payer’s money.
