Dr Higgins has very poor communication skills. He was very brief and judgemental. He was not supportive and he was rushed for time. He appeared irritated when I asked questions and ended conversations abruptly. He did not make me feel comfortable in any way. I don’t trust this doctor. He has no interest in helping, he just wants to move ahead with the schedule regardless of your feelings. He had no interest in having a conversation to process your feelings. He was not caring or compassionate in any way. I hope he reads this and reflects!!

I’m into my 5th week post TKR, my results are inspiring!! I’ve achieved amazing range of motion already 120 degrees! Dr James Higgins did an amazing job! And I’m really looking forward to getting my next knee done!

I am very pleased with my THR by Dr. Higgins. Everything was explained clearly and succinctly beforehand. He accommodated my request for sutures rather than staples. When I asked for a soon as possible date for the operation due to my loss of mobility, he suggested day surgery. This was greatly appreciated. It’s been 5 weeks and my scar looks great and I can walk for short distances without even a cane. Thank You.

It has been over a year since I had my first knee replacement done by Dr Higgins at Michael Garron Hospital, and 8 months since my second knee done, I can truly say that I am so grateful to have been looked after by such a skilled surgeon. He is also very caring, humble, and attentive. I am looking forward to the next phase in my life with gusto and without pain! I just want him to know how much he’s changed my life, and that I am forever grateful!
