Dr. Sebastian Hobson is an amazing, caring and compassionate doctor and surgeon. He makes sure an individual is respected and cared for emotionally and mentally. His bedside manner was impeccable, and if I didn’t see for myself I truly would not understand his depth of caring. This review is long overdue and for this I apologize as he so deserves to be recognized for his presence with his patience.
One year ago, our daughter was pregnant with her second child and was advised that she was facing Placentia Previa Precreta, which is not only very dangerous, it is frightening, especially if overweight. Dr. Sebastian was amazing with our daughter, reassuring her throughout the pregnancy that she was doing well, all would be fine and also shared the true facts of what she would be facing without terrifying her. She was so at peace with him and Dr. Lisa Allen, he made all the difference in the world in her mental state going into the surgery six weeks early. Her beautiful little girl was safety brought into this world through a C-Section at 4lbs 15 ozs. Immediately after our daughter had a hysterectomy and then bladder repair as the Placenta did indeed went beyond to touch her bladder. Her recovery was not only difficult is was critical that I her mother stay with her as the first 4 days were brutal, not able to move. Our granddaughter was growing slowly, yet well and within 5 days transferred to a hospital close to our daughters home. We just celebrated her 1st. Birthday on October 4th. and cannot believe how much joy she brings into our daughter’s life and ours. We thank you Dr. Sebastian Hobson for all you caring demeanour. Please never forget how important your words and presence means to your patients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you truly are a wonderful medical professional and person. YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Dr. Hobson is an excellent doctor. He was compassionate and also true to the facts making sure I had all the information and know everything that was happening at all times. I had a difficult and high risk pregnancy. He would repeat ultrasounds himself to make sure he got was he was looking for. He performed my c section and even removed a fibroid. Words cannot express how thankful I am for this amazing doctor. My baby girl was born at 34 weeks with a planned c section for my pregnancy complications. I really hope I can be under his care for future pregnancies. Forever thankful. Thank you Dr Hobson.

Dr. Hobson embodies everything you would expect from a professional in his field, compassionate, empathetic, and knowledgeable. His delivery of communication is so gentle and mindful, I feel very much cared for during my high risk pregnancy. I truly appreciate being under his care as he’s always open to questions and really celebrates progress which really eases the mind of a first time mom! I would refer his name to those I truly care about in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Hobson, you are great at what you do.

Dr. Hobson is both a respectful and caring doctor, surgeon and person. Having gone through a horrific first pregnancy where I was near deaths door. I wasn’t sure I could or wanted to have another child. I went to meet Dr. Hobson before even considering having another child. Not only did Dr. Hobson reassured me but he listened to all my worries and anxieties. He truly listened. He made me feel like I could do it again and I did! It was a crazy time to have a child with all my previous challenges and COVID 19 pandemic going on. He and all the staff at Mount Sinai were so patient and understanding. I honestly couldn’t have done it without such amazing nurses and doctors surrounding me. I made it through and had a healthy baby girl. Thank you Dr. Hobson for thoroughly thinking of every possible out come and planning for it. You amazed me and I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done. My faith in Doctors like yourself has been restored. I could go on for pages but could never put down enough words to express how truly grateful I am to have had you in my life as my doctor. I will never forget you! My family and I thank you a thousand times!

Dr. Hobson is an outstanding doctor, surgeon and person. His gentle and caring nature were on point with what I deem a fantastic doctor. After having a horrific experience at another hospital and almost losing my life. I went to see Dr. Hobson before I became pregnant to see if I it was even possible to have a healthy delivery. Dr. Hobson was very thorough and went through all possible outcomes of having a retained placenta. Having gone through a previous pregnancy where I hemorrhaged and needed an emergency blood transfusion I needed to feel very secure with my decision and Dr. Hobson did this for me. Once pregnant, the prenatal care was out of this world. The nurses and doctors carefully watched over me and did many exams before the big day. Having a child during a normal world gives a woman some anxieties.So having a baby during a pandemic and also having the challenges of my previous delivery was to say the least frightening. I don’t think I could have done it’s without Dr. Hobson.He always took the time to listen and to give me some reassurance. When the big day came Dr. Hobson helped to keep me calm and always apologized for my discomfort. His team of experts were well prepped and knew my previous story. With all things in place I had a healthy delivery and baby girl! My family and I can’t thank him enough for all his constant support and kindness. In my opinion he’s one of the best out there. I would give him five stars!!!
