I was referred to Dr.Jerry Chen by my other neurologist Dr. Nita I which I wanted to keep. But, for a mover a year Dr.Jerry Chen didn’t return my calls nor make appointments for me. When I left emails or messages the receptionist or him didn’t return calls. I had to get my family doctor to prescribe his medications. I didn’t like the change and I don’t think he is doing a good job in keeping up with his patients

ODD THAT A CANADIAN TRAINED “NEUROLOGIST” OF ASIAN HERITAGE, WOULD ADVISE A PERSON TREATED FOR EPILEPSY FOR OVER 30 YEARS, TO SEE A “PSYCHIATRIST”.
REMEMBER, SIR: EPILEPSY IS A NEUROLOGIC, NOT PSYCHIATRIC CONDITION!
PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ASIAN BIAS AT HOME!
    THIS IS CANADA!

Please read my Ida Fedor-Baan, East York, Toronto Canada, letter printed October 22, 2021 in the Toronto Star regarding Epilepsy and cultural bias.

Epilepsy is a NEUROLOGIC condition, not psychiatric. Letter can be found on Pressreader.

Very disappointing appointment with Asian Canadian “Neurologist” today – advising 30+ year Canadian-born (Hungarian background) to visit “psychiatrist.” Physicians ALL need training in cultural sensitivity and some, possible retraining in another specialty.

Note: HACKER “Fist” emoji appears regularly on my hacked, A-51 Samsung Android. I wonder why?

You will feel worst after being seen by him, online or in person. Dose not deal with symptoms but pushed you to have anxiety issues. Very impatient

I have been a patient of Dr. Chen’s for over two years and have had several meetings with him. All experiences were most positive and I’m very pleased to be in his care.

Dr Chen is young and dismissive. He does not respect people. He gaslights patients. I have never used this term before to describe someone’s behaviour, but the shoe fits. He completely dismisses your concerns, and talks you into corners. If your symptoms are not a simple fix, he has no skin in the game. Dr Chen it is you that needs help sorting out your issues. Being intelligent does not equate to some god given superiority. I recommend all conversations be recorded!

This Doctor was very detail in assessment of our mother, he spent a great deal of time on the appointment. He was polite and patience. He gave as treatment options. I highly recommend him as an neurologist.
