• 1 March 2024I was referred to this doctor Dr rizvi the neurologist at Clearwater specialist office and before I went I read all the reviews on this doctor and every bit of me wanted to go back to my doctor and ask for a different referral it was so far away from where I lived and with the reviews hovering over my head of how terrible of a doctor he was I didn’t see the point in going however I did show up today to see him and the reviews were saying you’ll be lucky if you get 4 minutes with him he doesn’t listen to you he doesn’t like women he almost seems like he’s aggressive and angry at you my visit was a complete waste of time I went there because I was suffering from numbness from a stroke that I had and one side of my body I was getting very bad nosebleeds dizzy all the time headaches my hand started shaking recently I can’t write anymore my handwriting’s illegible and literally he asked me to point my finger at my nose and some stupid exercises I guess that’s the way he diagnoses someone I’m not sure but he was showing me some x-rays which I didn’t understand and then he said so what’s all wrong so I named off the things that were wrong he kept saying I was smoking to quit smoking and I said I don’t smoke and I said is there any way to get back the feeling I’ve lost since I’ve had a stroke cuz I’m really numb on one side and he said pick two things that bother you the most right now I suppose they all bother me I’m getting dizzy I’m getting nose piece headaches my hand shaking my speech is off he said just pick two things I said well I guess the dizziness of my headaches what does it do write me a prescription and said here you go this will help your headaches I go that’s it he said well I don’t know why you’re coming to see me you had a doctor when you were in the hospital go see him I don’t even know who the doctor was he was just a doctor on call that night that I went into the hospital and he was extremely rude to me and my visit it took me 40 minutes to get down there and the visit was 4 minutes and the medication that he gave me I will not take it’s an antidepressant with a side effect of extreme weight gain not going to happen and it’s treated for all kinds of things like depression I don’t have depression so yeah he’s just wants the body count for his paychecks and he wants to write prescriptions for more paychecks he doesn’t give a crap about what’s wrong with you stay away from this doctor I don’t know how he’s even operating he’s a rude mean person he thinks he’s intimidating but he’s rude he’s lucky that I was calm today because I would have probably said something I just assumed walked out and got in a cab and went all the way home through the prescription away because I will not be using the prescription he gave me what woman wants to gain 25 lb in a couple of months no thank you he should not be practicing neurology because he did nothing for me neurological wise
